wax on, wax off
What shows have you binge-watched during coronacation?
I watched all of season two of Cobra Kai in one day… if you are a Karate Kid fan and you haven’t watched Cobra Kai, I HIGHLY recommend it. You’re welcome.
When you practice Yin Yoga, you can’t help but notice how the sensations are SO different from right to left.
This difference could be the skeletal asymmetry from right to left, the way you use your body because of your hobbies, because you are right- or left-handed, or your habitual way of moving and holding your body. Who knows? But it is interesting to observe the difference and adjust the Yoga practice according to what you feel.
Your Yoga poses doesn’t have to look the same from right side to left side. You don’t have to hold the poses for the same amount of minutes from right side to left side.
It is interesting and engaging to notice what you feel, and adjust the shape of the pose and the time you hold the pose from right side to left side.
There is no such thing as a perfect symmetry from right to left but we can use our practice to create balance in our body as much as we can. You can even incorporate something like using your non-dominant hand to do simple chores around the house like washing the dishes, brushing your teeth, waxing your car, sanding the floor, painting the fence….
